Hailey Deborah Baak was baptized on January 28, just 6 days after her 8th birthday. She was so excited to see Darin Gustafson baptized earlier that month that she said she did not want to wait until February, she wanted to get baptized the first available date after her birthday. It was a beautiful day filled with family and friends. Hailey's daddy baptized and confirmed her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Her sister, Kelsey, sang "I Walk By Faith" while Hailey got dressed. Her brother Hayden, said a few words on the Holy Ghost. Hailey's favorite moment was the talk on baptism given by her Aunt Rebecca. She told Hailey that our choices make us who we are. When we are born we are like little caterpillars and if we choose the right we will grow up to be beautiful butterflies. However, if we don't make good choices, we will grow up to be an ugly moth. She then gave Hailey some CTR earrings in the shape of butterflies to remind her to choose the right.We are all so proud of Hailey and her decision to get baptized. We know that she is on her way to becoming a beautiful butterfly.
